Crappie Are full of Eggs

We are trolling Hal Flies over trees in 7 to 15 feet of water and catching nice crappies full of eggs. The water is 8 feet below pool and high 60’s to low 70’s. We are using corks and trolling the jig 5 feet under the cork. Ray Dowdy from Harlem fished with me this week and caught 24 nice crappie.
The stripers and hybrids are hanging out in deep water and being caught on boards. They should be moving into the shallows any day now.
