Stripers and Crappie are moving into the shallow

We are having a ball catching crappie and stripers in 4-10 feet of water. We are trolling Hal Flies, 20 inches under a cork, in 4-10 feet of water in the back of coves for crappies. The crappies are full of eggs and headed to the banks. We are about two week out for the crappie to go to the banks. We are catching a lot of nice crappies weighing 1 lb and 2 lbs. We caught 56 crappie on Friday.
Stripers and hybrid are moving up on humps and flats in 4-10 feet of water. We are pulling planer boards and free lines with live herring. These fish are coming off of the river channels. My son, Brad and his daughter Abby fished with me on Saturday and we caught 15 stripers and hybrids. Abby caught an eight pound striper. We caught 4 fish over 8 pounds and all the others were 4-6 pounds. Check our photos of these trips.
