Stripers and Hybrid are still deep but full of eggs

Fishing for stripers with me on Saturday was Kim Hamlin(from Hephzibah, Ga) and her 10 year old son R.J. My son Jim was my first mate. They caught 10 nice stripers and hybrids. R.J. out fished his Mom by catching a 12 pound striper and his mom came close by catching a 10 pound striper. Most of their fish were 6-12 pounds. We were pulling planer boards and free lines in 18-70 feet of water.

Friday, Philip Shapiro( from Augusta) fished for crappie with me. He fished for crappie in 12-15 feet of water trolling Hal Flies of all colors. He caught 20 nice crappie, 3 stripers, one yellow perch, one white perch and one 6 pound catfish all on Hal flies. The crappie are staging in the trees, getting ready to go to the banks.
