STRIPERS AND HYBRIDS ARE SCHOOL ON TOP OF THE WATER EVERY WHERE.

Wednesday, we found fish schooling on top of the water from the dam to bass alley and up Ga. Little River. Most of the fish are 3-4 pounds. I did catch a 6 pound striper on a cc spoon. We caught fish on different baits. The fish were hitting Sammy, cc spoon, ice fly behind popping cork, thing popper behind popping cork, small fluke. The fish are chasing small bait. We caught 24 on Wednesday. The fish stayed up for 2 hours. Then, we started trolling Capt. Mack’s umbrella rigs.  Everything stopped about 11:30am.

We went back to the lake on Thursday and the fish were everywhere. Everywhere we looked for miles there were fish. The fish only stayed up for about an hour. Then we started trolling Capt. Mack’s umbrella rigs. We caught 30 stripers and hybrids. They were hitting Sammy today better than any other plug. We were cleaning fish by 11am. The air temperature was 66 degree when we launch the boat. The water temperature was 74. We had a light wind.
