Everywhere that we go with our planner boards and free lines, we are finding fish. We are catching stripers, hybrids, catfish, spotted bass and large mouth bass. All of these are caught together on humps and points. These fish are still full of eggs. Some are in 20 feet of water and others are in 3 feet of water. We are still seeing a lot of schooling fish. Fishing with me on Sunday May 14, 2017, were Mike Casebolt and his son Josh and their friend Josh Johnson all from Pikeville, Ky. They caught a total of 24 fish. They had 10 spotted and large mouth bass and 14 stripers and hybrids. Josh Casebolt had the big fish a striper that was 8 pounds.
Larry Freeman, from Grovetown, Ga. fished with me on Monday. We limited out by 8am with nice stripers and hybrids. CHECK OUT OUR PHOTO ON THIS WEB SITE OR GO TO FACE BOOK UNDER DOUBLE TROUBLE FISHING GUIDE.
GOOD FISHING,
