Stripers on Down Lines

The fish are in 30-50 feet of water and we are fishing 15 to 25 feet down with live herring. They are on the move. We mark fish and drop down on them then they move. My clients catch a couple and the fish are gone. So we move around trying to find them again. It’s getting harder and harder to find fish. They should be stacking up at this time of the year.
