Stripers Schooling on Top

This is the fun time of the year for young and old. The fish are schooling on top of the water. You could just about throw anything at them and catch them. Some of the lures that we use are: Sammy, pearl color fluke, storm swim bait shad color, thing popper with popping cork, and cc spoons. The fish are schooling about 8-12 and they are all over the lake. We just ride and look for them or look for 2 or more boats together. Fishing with me on Saturday was Brant Sandifer from Tifton, Ga. and Andrew Kicklighter from Sycamore, Ga. They caught 15 nice stripers and hybrids with Brant catching a 10 pound hybrid.
